THE SMALL PRINT

Privacy, plainly.

There are no visitor accounts, signup forms or site analytics scripts in this build.

Browser tools

The calculator, quiz and viewing checklist run in your browser. Entries are kept only in page memory, not sent to us or saved in cookies or local storage. Leaving or reloading the page resets them. Printing and saving a PDF use your browser’s own facilities.

Hosting

Cloudflare serves the site and may process request information, including IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect it. Its own retention and privacy practices apply. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Amazon and external links

Following an affiliate link takes you to Amazon, which applies its own privacy and cookie practices. Links contain our affiliate tracking ID, not your calculator answers or checklist notes. Other external sources operate independently. See Amazon’s privacy notice.

Your choices

You can use the guides and tools without clicking any shopping links. Manage printing, downloaded PDFs and browsing data through your device and browser. We do not provide a newsletter or collect contact details through this site.

Hosting analytics

Cloudflare hosting can insert a Web Analytics script independently of the downloaded site code. Where the page’s security policy permits it to run, it can report visit and performance information to Cloudflare. Its presence does not prove it executed in every browser.

Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as using no cookies or local storage for measurement. Read Cloudflare’s Web Analytics documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for the service’s current practices. If hosting analytics settings change, this notice should be reviewed.
